The Alpagota blanket designed by Ruga Perissinotto is part of the Lanificio Paoletti project, which is dedicated to the recovery and enhancement of the wool of the Alpago sheep. From this sheep’s coat a quality yarn is obtained, soft and compact, with pleasant colors of natural shades. The autenticity of this precious raw material becomes the distinctive element of the project: the blanket itself is a simple, direct object, has a clean and linear shape as well as its decoration, which is visible on both sides. The long sides feature a blanket stitch embroidery finish, while the remaining sides end with soft fringes. The sustainable choice of not using dyes allows the blanket to maintain the original colors and shades of beige and gray.
